Problem & Goal
The client needed a fully custom e-commerce solution for selling premium interior design films online. Existing platforms lacked the flexibility for their unique product catalog structure and advanced SEO requirements. The goal was to build a blazing-fast, search-engine-friendly online store with a seamless guest checkout experience.

Challenges & Solutions
Technical obstacles encountered and how they were overcome
Handling dynamic product filtering on a large catalog while maintaining fast page load speeds.
Used Next.js App Router with ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) for product pages, significantly reducing time-to-interactive and enabling fresh content without full rebuilds.
Integrating a GraphQL API from a separate Laravel backend with real-time product and order data.
Implemented Apollo Client with intelligent caching strategies, reducing redundant API calls by 40% and ensuring data freshness without performance hits.
Building an accessible, multi-step guest checkout flow that persisted data across browser sessions.
Designed cart and checkout state using localStorage persistence with a fully keyboard-navigable, WCAG 2.1–compliant flow across all devices.
